Looked a lot more than 200 there looking at the youtube vid. Proper goal celebrations after Blathers and Beckett scored.

The one after all the trouble at Saltergate must have been the 200, the 1st time we played them at theirs after the trouble was the season after I remember going on the bus and having to walk for ages through a car park and then all security fencing (not sure but it could have been a Sunday).

The 3-3 was the season before the trouble, I might be wrong though

Says Saltergate match was 2002 on the video.

Ninian park match April 2001 (end of promotion season).

The last time we played them at home in 2003 I don't recall much trouble - possibly because most of the main offenders had been banned from the year previous.

We did, half way down the motorway before we knew it was a draw. The old and the wise. I think the first pitch invasion was enough to tell you what it was going to be like after.

If I remember rightly we had to walk through all the buses through the Police line holding folk back and then we were parked as far away as we could be in the top corner of the car park and some **** said "blend" but for the life of me I can't think who else went with us

6/4
not sure who the 4th was or if there was one.

I've been 3 or 4 times and can't remember which one was the game after the trouble. Remember one on a Friday night the season we got relegated when we took about 50 , we sat in the seated bit to the left , it's not a nice place to go as an away fan but the 3-3 was a different level. Was only about 15 at the time and went on my own on the supporters coach , just me , my bowl hair cut and jam jar specs.

I was in the RAF and parked in my mates pub called the Cornwall, just round the corner from the home end.
He didn't tell me it was a soul crew pub so had a right shock when I walked in but they were OK they came and collected me at the end of the game at the petrol station about 2 mins walk from the away end and my god was I happy that they did.

I will never forget when Rob Earnshaw scored the equalizer and a bloke next to me said ''THANK F FOR THAT''

was this the game we had 200 there or was this another occasion ?

I cant remember which way round if this game was after the trouble at Saltergate (what was you doing that day smig ;))

hitting someone outside what ended up being barracuda (in self defence m'lud).

Yeah that's the one. Think England might have been playing(Sweden?) the same day so we didn't take many. Had a new roof over the away end as well I think.

Just as I thought, the main reason for no trouble in 2003 was more to do with it being played on a Sunday and the whole town was closed

Watching the yawn derby between Forest and Derby......never a rivalry that fits in top 20 in country....work with both fans and it's petty rivalry rather than pure hatred....one for the residents of Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Hucknall

I can only assume you've never been to a Forest v Derby fixture making a statement like that. I've was in the boozer right off Trent Bridge post match a few years ago as the windows came through to some tune. The police sorted it though. They cleared us all out of the pub onto the road outside, into the free-for-all chaos that was taking place.

I remember 1 year we was away at Notts county when forest were away at Derby, was perfect timing us being in the pub at the side of the station as forest got back and the police pushed them towards the pub we was in.

I couldn't see the sense of forcing us all out of the confines of the pub and onto the road outside where there was a significant amount of fisticuffs being dished out. I'm not sure how I would have explained to a magistrate why I was present at the scene of disorder, other than the police put me there. I'm not sure that would wash.

Don't get me wrong, the police have an extremely difficult job and will always upset people. The problem I see is that most often, those making the decisions are intellectual's with zero common sense which ultimately makes the situation worse.
