You made the customary veiled slurs on CFC personnel

Slurs?

I thought he questioned the ability of the CEO`s financial nouse, something that you first defended and now are questioning as well?

I guess that 180 degree u-turn, while still continuing to argue (why I don't know, your agreeing with him now?!) is what he defines as your twisting and turning

A new hope.

It looks like we have missed out on an ideal candidate for the CEO role.
Chris Anderson appointed by Coventry.

http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/34748337

In a statement released by Coventry City, it says: "Chris has previously worked with a number of professional clubs. He has worked as a financial accountant, leading academic, and professional adviser to the football industry."
He was a professor at an 'Ivy League' establishment, Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Anderson and his co-author, former baseball pitcher and fellow American professor David Sally, released a book in 2014 entitled 'The Numbers Game: Why Everything You Know About Football is Wrong'.
In the promotional accompaniment to the book, he is described as an "award-winning social scientist and football analytics pioneer".

Exactly the sort of bloke we need. IMO someone like that would pay for themselves in the savings/running costs

A new hope.

Actually, the only person calling the CEO's abilities into question was 'h-again'.

I simply offered a few thoughts on where the money might've gone, as requested by that same person, quoting things like staff exits, new appointments, the installation of the large screen, the refit of the lobby and lounges and percentages going to various parties involved in negotiations alongside taxes, of course.

Post #304, there for all to peruse.

Thankfully everyone seemed to accept my ideas in the spirit of debate, as they were offered, including two contributors with a far greater grasp of these issues than myself.

Unfortunately one particular individual saw it as just another excuse to post personal jibes.

My apologies to all for prolonging his involvement, and as he seems to view having the last word as some minor 'victory' I'll move on to other threads.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "it takes two to tango"? You seem to have a lot of dancing partners. Perhaps your the common denominator in these silly arguments? Just a thought. I was enjoying reading this thread, its mostly very well informed debate about the financial side of things, and for those of us who are not overly familiar with the running of a business its very interesting. Mostly. One or two contributors really let the thread down, of which you most certainly are one.

Well so far I've posted five times on here about purely financial matters, as opposed to the long running spat with Chris. Your single contribution is nit-picking about my posts.
If you have anything to contribute of a useful nature, then please do so. Personal attacks don't register. As you may have noticed, I can be insulted by far better practitioners than you.

The 3 sided fellow just passed an observation on contributions to the thread.

Where is the "personal attack"?

Related to CT's business venture across the road I was told.

The Development Centre gets a mention in Turner's latest interview, but it ends rather abruptly.

So who pays for the losses/debts?

CT? CFC?
