no high horse just grateful for the last 5 years and realise mistakes are made. Every time this club has a problem da has put his hand in his pocket to sort it out and he's not a town fan but so called town fans take there money away how does that make any sense

Question is though, how many mistakes is acceptable in business before you need to address a situation? If someone keeps 'making mistakes' then shouldn't action be taken aginst those responsible to prevent it happening again?.......to be honest in my opinion the guy at the top is 'cashing in' and the sooner he puts the club on the market and fooks off with all his cronies in tow (Turner, Carson etc.) the better. The club is going backwards fast and make no bones about it, we're heading for league 2; I'm a season ticket holder and have been following the club for over 30 years but you know what, yesterday I couldn't be bothered watching that tripe and found something better to do with my day which didn't put me in a bad mood for the entire weekend.

It's pretty obvious to see that even diehards are becoming disillusioned with what they're saying no matter what thick newboldsteve says. Sad state of affairs. I certainly wouldn't be going if I didn't have my ST which I regret buying.

I doubt there is a single person not grateful for what we have achieved in the last 5 years but that is history now. We should have pushed on. Built on the foundation laid but we a floundering. We are rudderless and all that hard work appears to be falling to pieces. I'm grateful for the last 5 years. They have been the best in my 20 odd years a supporter. But I don't live in the past. If I did I would support Liverpool.

He's had a good chunk lately.
By the way, he's had to put his hand in his pocket to fund mistakes made by a management team appointed by him.....
Are you still working on your reply regarding the team not being dismantled ?
YOU CHOOSE YOUR LEADERS AND PLACE YOUR TRUST AS THEIR LIES WASH YOU DOWN AND THEIR PROMISES RUST.

Question, been going 30 years? Did you go when Rushbury/Richardson/Randall/Mcmenemy in charge? Did you continue to go despite us being Bunkum under those managers?

Reading a lot of this type of comment, die hard fans not wanting to go etc etc

Yes its bad at the moment, but it has been worse!

Don't understand why the current situation would stop any 'die hard' going to the games

The fall from having a team with top quality players and a good manager to this dross. It's a steep fall.

Correct, but I still do not understand how this is breaking point for fans who claim to have gone to games during times we finished in the bottom half of the basement!

Now, going or not going doesn't make anyone any less of a fan in my opinion, I am just surprised that people who I assume saw some terrible Town teams choose now to announce their non attendance! Seems more like the actions of success spoilt fickle fans than Die hard Town fans!

Like the bloke in the kop who threw his ST onto the pitch (only for someone to retrieve it) - go or don't go, no need for meaningless attention seeking gestures

I've been losing interest in the mentality of football for a while recently, the money grabbing, the feigning injury, the unsportsmanship etc. football has gone to the dogs, this rugby World Cup has been a joy to watch. I'm no rugby fan but got into it and have really enjoyed the atmosphere, the supportmanship, the effort of players who have a passion to do well, put the effort in and above all respect each other

Don't really agree about the rugby- this World Cup has been very uninspiring.
Overpriced tickets, non-England games full of disinterested school kids with free tickets (I've been to 3 games at the Olympic Stadium- all been boring with little atmosphere).

In fighting between current and ex England staff/players.....
Convoluted scoring system- bar Japan no upsets

I fell out of the habit about 15 years ago when children started arriving. The point is, the club were sucking me back in under Cookie, I was considering a season ticket. Actually, 2 STs
They have let me go, they've failed to turn my interest into commitment. They have failed in one of their primary objectives; attract new ST holders
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

It's very simple. In the past, barring the Cox/Barlow era the football has varied from decent to dire. Without ever really raising expectations above staying in league one.

We then had a team that played football. Real proper football. For the first time in 30 years. We were really close you know.

I understand that players move on and want to Persue a career at the highest level and our players had value, no problems selling them either. But to sell the Crown Jewels and replace them with cubit zirconia and still expect fans to be happy?

It's the staggering contrast between the two. We have gone from signing young up and coming players with potential who would fit the total football ethos to signing has been with dubious attitudes and injury records - and not through necessity of being on financial trouble but instead through deliberate club actions.
A new hope.
