Saunders so far, in the league has a win percentage of around 33%. What was his win percentage as a manager, prior to coming here?

Totally agree with you.I don't believe for one minute our budget is higher this season i think Saunders has been left a fraction of our transfer revenue nothing near the percentages Allen was quoting therefore Saunders ends up shopping on Ebay buying "spare or repair" . Alarm bells were ringing for me when Smalley left for Oxford on a better deal than we could offer during Sheridan's reign and then lack of recruitment was blamed on people being on holiday,CEO's inability to close deals",We don't pay agents".It's all been bullshine since then.

What we need to do, and fast, is to stop conceding almost 3 goals ever game (especially at Home). It makes it almost impossible for us to take any kind of result from matches, due to the fact we haven't got enough fire power up top. SEB has 2 goals so far in 12, so at that rate he may get about 8-10 goals - this won't be good enough from our main forward. In my opinion we are currently pinning our hopes on O'shea and Garnder producing the goods in front of goal and I'm not sure these two are consistent enough.

Also, I'm I right in thinking, we pin further hopes on Ariyibi, but he's no assists or goals this season, yet from the 10 games he's been involved in. Got potential, but we need some kind of end product.

WeRe talking about a chairman who ended up putting millions more into the club than he planned due to believing Barrie's back of a fag packet costings, presided over the appointment of a CEO ( sniggers) that came up with a bonus strategy that turned a promotion winning and Wembley visit season into loss making ones, retained said CEO after being interviewed on radio and being drunk ( allegedly ) and then blames the fans ( who have doubled since Saltergate) for the clubs woes.
I thank DA for the positive things he has brought us but do think many, you included , are a little blinkered by these positives.
DA has categorically affirmed his current strategy with the dismantling of arguably the best team we've ever had, and certainly the one with the greatest potential we've ever had , for a reduction in his financial support. I don't begrudge him a penny of what he's due but it looks like the appointment of DS is to backfire on him big time.
As for your Darren Brown comment that was a conman who hoodwinked a greedy outgoing chairman. If I were you I'd think long and hard about the long term consequences of retaining the status quo.

The facts are he has done more for the club than any other including the so called fans who are now not going to bother coming after we have had a few bad games . things go wrong in football its the nature of the game but when we over spent that championship winning season da didn't throw his toys out the pram he stuck his hand in is pocket on chucked in an extra half a million quid not like some wasters on here "I'm not wasting 20 quid a fortnight on that I'm off" I think it says more about so called fans who wont back there team through thick and thin

You cannot possibly disagree that last years team has been dismantled surely?? If so I'd love to see how you disagree? Ryan, Clucas, Darikwa, Roberts, and I could throw Cooper into the mix.
That's 50 per cent of regular first teamers and all the goals and assists.

As for the rest of your post. Is it in relation to mine as I made no reference to me wanting DA to spend any more money or not going anymore? Id suggest you reply to those sorts of posts individually for the much needed sake of clarity.
I've been going for 40 years mate and I spent a small fortune last season gong to as many away games as possible - like many, many others.
I feel shafted by the board.
I'm entitled to my view and it's based on how the running of this club has made me feel.

You slate fans for not going through thick and thin ? If there is hope then I am sure they would but it is now clear that DS hasn't a clue how to succeed. Why should people sit having to watch the game through gaps in their fingers because his tactics/signings are so dire ? These are not one off losses they are regular, and the management must take responsibility and make changes.

I nearly fell into the trap of buying a season ticket this season.

I work away and would miss midweek games and thought maybe I should purchase one as it would still be beneficial, then the rumours and sales started etc therefore I ended up not bothering and just pay on the day.

I've been losing interest in the mentality of football for a while recently, the money grabbing, the feigning injury, the unsportsmanship etc. football has gone to the dogs, this rugby World Cup has been a joy to watch. I'm no rugby fan but got into it and have really enjoyed the atmosphere, the supportmanship, the effort of players who have a passion to do well, put the effort in and above all respect each other.


These few points combined with the mentality of the club have meant that for the first time in twenty five years I've deliberately decided to miss the last two games. Instead I paid £9 and had 18 holes of golf and have had a lovely enjoyable last couple of Saturday's.

This is from someone that didn't miss a home or away game including jot or friendlies for five years and over 250 games in a row ( yes this was during the rushbury era as well ) and even went to Cheltenham away whilst my dad was under going a 10 hour double heart by-pass operation ( he told me to go by the way lol).

Now if I'm not even bothering then how are the club going to attract new fans and develop the club forward. DA has made a royal **** up, the buck stops there.

no high horse just grateful for the last 5 years and realise mistakes are made. Every time this club has a problem da has put his hand in his pocket to sort it out and he's not a town fan but so called town fans take there money away how does that make any sense
