If we all had your commitment we would be........
Playing in a rented hell hole
Or
Still at Saltergate
Or
Playing Non League
Or
No club at all
Thankfully we have fans that will go irrespective of the goings on off the field.

No excitement, first time I have had that 'not really bothered' feeling..........will I be able to stay away ?..........NO CHANCE, I may pay more attention to the finances now than I did before (scraped the cash together whatever) but I could never say 'I have done'........this is the Club I have watched, through good times and bad, for 45 years, I am certainly disillusioned and worried but, I couldn't imagine not being in that South Stand, cheering on the Blues.

Question for you - do you want things to carry on as they were, overspending and increasing the debt.

Not at all but when the club are cashing in as well as they are I personally expect replacements in one way or another. I understand wanting cash back but it's all take at the moment.

I went to 252 games in a row through the dark days of Brown, Rushbury etc when we were fighting to keep hold of the club, that included JPT games, all friendlies etc, doesn't make me any better or worse than someone who didn't go to any games at all.
This moment in time I've chosen not to go to any of the friendlies, simply because I can't be bothered at the moment. Doesn't mean I don't care or makes me less of a fan.
I'm truly concerned about the club on the playing side as I'm sure we might struggle, I'd take 20th right now. The club has missed a glorious opportunity to push on and establish ourselves as a top 6 league one team who could push for promotion (thought that's what we were supposed to be doing this season, going for it, more tripe sold).
Some people where concerned about Brown but most people had their head buried into the sand and didn't want to know and criticised those making a stand.
My opinion is the club has had serious mismanagement of it's finances ( by overspending on wages beyond what we can afford hence the million pound debt) it's sold a story in order to sell season tickets through promises of better squad than last season etc.
I fully understand the situation we are in and we have had great deals and can't keep hold of our assets. I fully agree that we need to take the offers for Tendi, Clucas, Doyle etc. it's been great business.
I fully expect Morsy to go as well for a good figure.
I fully expect DA To want his money back, so would I.
I fully understand we need to get the debt down and pay the stadium off and run the business properly on a profit.
What I don't expect is false promises and crap about the team being better than now than it was at the end of last season.
Cut the crap and be honest, the club needed to get things on an even level, if people had come out and said that I'd have had more respect and been happy to part with my hard earned cash.
Have I fallen out of love with the club I've supported all my life....quite possibly...
The questions people have to ask, if I'm feeling like this, how many others are? What about the new fans, will they continue to attend if things get bad on the pitch?
Six days before the season starts doesn't give time for any new signings to gel properly, if in fact any are even coming before the season starts, in my opinion their won't be any new signings until the end of August when we may well be struggling and that will be the reason why they come, panic buying.
I genuinely feel for Dean Saunders and fans alike....the tablecloth has been pulled from under us all.
I agree with all of that but we are not the only club leaving signings until the last minute - there are players/agents holding out until the last minute hoping to feed off of the desperation of clubs just as we are viewing the situation thinking that there are players also desperate to sign because they haven't received any good enough offers.
This apparent cat and mouse game will go on right until the deadline but with the statements from DS it could all blow up in his face because this is football and we all know nothing is straight forward.

Everyone is disappointed to a man at the sales and lack of action to find replacements. Everyone to a man is down about the new season but we really do have some Mardy Rsed fkin drama queens as fans
