A rudderless, leaderless shambles.

Thank goodness.

Cheerio - I assume you will also no longer be posting pompous drivel on these boards too?

Sadly he'll still be posting but from a position of total ignorance to go with his jaundiced views.

Seriously thought it does matter if people don't turn up and pay on the day and you can hardly blame the less committed

Typical of bobs boards rules....someone who is obviously passionate and concerned about the club has made an opinion and choice and gets slated. Money these days is tight and if someone chooses not to invest anymore of their hard earned capital into the club through going to games then so be it.

I went to 252 games in a row through the dark days of Brown, Rushbury etc when we were fighting to keep hold of the club, that included JPT games, all friendlies etc, doesn't make me any better or worse than someone who didn't go to any games at all.

This moment in time I've chosen not to go to any of the friendlies, simply because I can't be bothered at the moment. Doesn't mean I don't care or makes me less of a fan.

I'm truly concerned about the club on the playing side as I'm sure we might struggle, I'd take 20th right now. The club has missed a glorious opportunity to push on and establish ourselves as a top 6 league one team who could push for promotion (thought that's what we were supposed to be doing this season, going for it, more tripe sold).

Some people where concerned about Brown but most people had their head buried into the sand and didn't want to know and criticised those making a stand.

My opinion is the club has had serious mismanagement of it's finances ( by overspending on wages beyond what we can afford hence the million pound debt) it's sold a story in order to sell season tickets through promises of better squad than last season etc.

I fully understand the situation we are in and we have had great deals and can't keep hold of our assets. I fully agree that we need to take the offers for Tendi, Clucas, Doyle etc. it's been great business.

I fully expect Morsy to go as well for a good figure.

I fully expect DA To want his money back, so would I.

I fully understand we need to get the debt down and pay the stadium off and run the business properly on a profit.

What I don't expect is false promises and crap about the team being better than now than it was at the end of last season.

Cut the crap and be honest, the club needed to get things on an even level, if people had come out and said that I'd have had more respect and been happy to part with my hard earned cash.

Have I fallen out of love with the club I've supported all my life....quite possibly...

The questions people have to ask, if I'm feeling like this, how many others are? What about the new fans, will they continue to attend if things get bad on the pitch?

Six days before the season starts doesn't give time for any new signings to gel properly, if in fact any are even coming before the season starts, in my opinion their won't be any new signings until the end of August when we may well be struggling and that will be the reason why they come, panic buying.

I genuinely feel for Dean Saunders and fans alike....the tablecloth has been pulled from under us all.

A rudderless, leaderless shambles.

At least you'll be able to donate your spare coppers to a rudderless, leaderless shambles of a political party. Lots of laughs all round!!

Me neither really, however if you start or come onto a thread banging on about not going any more and telling folk they are wasting their money you have to expect a reaction, like you said it's for all types of CFC related discussion and that's what happened.

Wasting my money ?

Relegated ?

You presume to much, I will be spending my hard earned cash on the club I love, so it won't be wasted. As for relegation, time will tell but I doubt that will happen.

I can accept tha fact that Ryan, Robert, Clucas, Darikwa have been allowed to leave. Family, money, chance to play at a higher level etc. this is fine with me and we have received some decent money. What is absolutey unacceptable is the lack if replacements. We've known since May that Ryan and Roberts would need replacing and still nothing. All we've had is A doyle replacement (finally) and a couple of kids from none league. Just who the f has allowed this to happen, they need their P45

I'm out too for now... seems many more are aswell... years iv paid my hard earned cash to watch and follow this club and now I will not give the club another penny. I understand da wanting money back but this is a joke and the true da is coming out..

What the hell's up with you, we haven't played a league game yet and you and some others say you've had enough. I'm as sick as anyone on here that we've not bought any quality, bar one, with only 7 days to go. I'll be even sicker when our main man Sam Morsy goes, that will be midfield engine gone. I'm starting my 50th season with Town, yes I'm on a downer, but I'll still be there home and away as long as those in the blue shirt give their all to the cause. If we don't sign any quality and things are going bad,I'll still have my moan but will never give up on the Club.
Remember the really bad old days when Brown fleeced us good and proper and nearly killed us off completely. DA has sold our better players yes, but he's not robbing the club from what is rightfully his at the moment. If we can't make money through the turnstyles then we have to sell our prize players. Thank God Paul Cook and Mitch.have brought such quality players to the Club which have cost us next to nowt in tranfer fees, enabling us to make healthy profits from their sale. If we hadn't got such a classy squad, I dread to think what might happen in the not too distant future.
It's extremely frustrating that we haven't managed to bring in some quality yet, but surely even DA & CT know that the fans aren't daft and will demmand team strengthening pretty soon or the gates will suffer badly.

A rudderless, leaderless shambles.

They were in charge when we won the division 2 title and last year when we finished sixth. Players move on, and there is no way we could stand in the way of players when they can go to a championship club, they must be being paid at least two to three times what we were or could pay them.

But what happens if there are plenty more like you prepared to desert this great Club if we go down? If the gates are that low will we have a football club in the future or will it become another casino / chip shop for DA and his coffers?

Not until da sells up. He's been great I can't deny that and I also understand he wants money back but I don't like how he and ct have gone about it. It's like they don't care
