Adam Rooney has made Martin O'Neil's provisional squad for the freindly with England in early June and the following Euro qualifier with Scotland a week later.
Interestingly, one time Spireite target, Jack Grealish has refused a call up.

I remember Rooney playing and I'm not sure he's international standard.
Good luck to the lad though, as O'Neill obviously sees something in him.

he was here a long time ago, and was a young lad then.
he also rarely started up front either, which is why he didn't stay here from what I remember.
His recent record of 24 in 48 since returning to Scottish football (Aberdeen) is very good, though.
