Not one of their players or management even considered the fact the tie was over, don't know where you got that from, and all including Beckford (who called us class) praised our performance and said they were in for a tough time Sunday. They defended stoickly and took their chances, can't ask for much more from an away performance, plus we can't moan about dirty given two of ours should have walked.

Our finishing thwarted us tonight, not them.

After the first ten minutes I thought we were going to get battered, then we upped our game and dominated them, it's an absolute travesty we have a side as good as we have with no proper striker to lead the line. I do have to ask the question about the attendance 8400 are they having a laugh. Surely another 1000 on top of that would be more accurate.

Well way beckford came off kissing his trophy looked to me as that was it. I truly shouted back at him it's only half way we'll see who's smiling on Sunday.

Couldnt believe that. The stadium plan showed that only 500 home tickets were unsold. If Preston brought 1500 the attendance had to be over 9k

Who was the second who 'should have walked' in addition to Jimmy?

I'm guessing Robbo, wonder if something happened whilst he was on the floor prior to the fracas

Looked to have hold of their lad by the neck for a second. Not much in it but one that could easily have seen him gone if the ref had seen it. Having said that, it was right under the ref's nose so maybe he did see it and didn't think much of it.

He kissed the trophy after the folks in the west stand near the tunnel were heckling him, nothing in it, certainly not cockiness about the result

Was the incident when the 4th official was pushed/thumped in the back by a pne official just before H/t (the ex donny p*** Snoddin) picked up on TV?. The 4th official appeared to be upset and chased him down the tunnel

If Beckford was up top for us tonight we would have won the game in my opinion.

There only looked to be about 200/300 empty seats in the away end and about the same for the east stand. I would have said a thousand on top of the official attendance too.

I don't understand where this poor gamesmanship and time wasting came from? Maybe dirty at times but then again isn't every team when they need to be? We never tried to slow the game down or anything like that so poor gamesmanship and time wasting isn't really fair to say is it?
