Mmmm, was he trying to say something right at the death of that interview? (you can only be a good manager if you have good players and have the backing)
Perhaps I'm just reading too much into the circumstances

He said it would be nice to have a keeper on the bench, so there's obviously a problem in that department

Not really he won't want to tip off Grayson we only have Tommy, you can imagine Kevin Davies being instructed to go in hard, he probably would have been better asking Tom not to ask the question before the interview

Doesn't make that much difference if he finds out now or when he gets our team sheet Thursday..

Still plenty of time for him to let his strikers know.

Yes but we could have put an unfit Miles Wright on the bench to disguise it, although I was thinking more of him being crocked for the second leg

He's peeeed off because he thinks he's been badly advised - in that one of his experts should have recommended that Chapman should have had both ankles done at the same time. I think it's the case that the second op still hasn't been done. Then, to go for a loanee who was likely to be recalled is not a masterstroke.

Yes, generally cheesed off over the situation for me

If the worst happened, can we definitely still get an emergency loan keeper in now the regular season has finished?

I wonder if there are rules for *who* you're allowed to borrow under such an emergency (no fit keepers at all after the end of most people's season) situation?

I can't make this one cos of a rehearsal.. I really want to switch my phone off and watch a replay of the game without knowing the score - can't abide getting text updates for a game so big. Does anyone know when our game will be replayed on sky? Even if it's early morning, I have Friday off. My perfect plan would be to Sky Go a friends Sky and watch it as if it was happening live. I'm far from an armchair fan, I love reacting to everything, good and bad. Just glad I got a ticket to the away leg.
Carson Out.
