what worries me is we MIGHT have a pre-season trip to Sligo and I don't mean going there wouldn't be anything less than great....

5000 ST? If the budget isn't increased and Cook goes I very much doubt CFC will get anywhere near 5000.
Do they think town fans grow on trees and numbers will just keep going up?

Sales will surely drop if any Cook departure is associated with a lack of ambition.

You raise a great point, it creates total confusion.
In fact, some of the comments made by senior club officials are pointless, absolutely meaningless. Here are some examples:
1) Oxford lost £1.5M last year. What they failed to mention was their Turnover was 49.2% less than CFC's!
2) Leyton Orient lost £1.4M last year. Again, what they failed to mention was Orient's turnover was 49% less than CFC's.
3) We are now spending about £70,000 a year on IT and when I came in we were spending £250,000,” he (CT) said. What he doesn't tell you is that we made an £80K profit that year!
What you'll never hear:
Walsall are a professional, well run club. They manage to trade a small profit year or year yet their turnover is approximately £1.5M less than ourselves. Walsall's wage bill for their entire business is £2.77M and ours is running at £4M pa. Walsall are where we need to be.

So Chris Turner isn't quite so ambidextrous as we first thought?

STEWARDING MUCH IMPROVED....I beg to differ and the way the two ladies and there apprentice talks to people inside the main entrance on match days is a cause for concern,I've seen them approach members of the public, and let's just say, there people skills have alot to be desired.Maybe the club would like to have a little word with these individuals as they are aware of who they are....also fire/health & safety stewards who lock doors inside the main entrance so people can only get out but not enter is a joke re.Swindon Town match when Kitman couldn't enter after loading coach as couldn't members of the public.

People will start asking questions. One will be how we are skintight when we are getting unprecedented average gates.
