First of all what a fantastic achievement....PC his coaching staff, the players, CFC employees... I doff my cap and thank you for getting us to the never before seen highs (in my 28 years of following town) of our current league position.

But what now with one league game to go?? Is it all a bit of a dead rubber??? Will there be the desperation for tickets...are local bragging rights enough?? Will folk save £ with 2 more games and a wembley trip to look forward to!!!! .. Think the attendance figures at Rammel lane could be interesting Sunday

I think we need to get above them in the league. Swindon look desperate at the mo and i would want to play them more than mk or preston.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

The great thing about this game for me is we are in play offs if we win, lose or draw

My missus has been badgering me about going out for a drink next Sunday afternoon, with it being a Bank Holiday. I initially said I was going to the match so we would have to put it off. She huffed and puffed and complained a bit, but accepted I needed to go to the match.

Now I play my trump card. I tell her I'm going to miss the game ( knowing we are in the play offs and nothing can change that ) to spend the afternoon with her. She thinks I'm sacrificing watching my beloved Town to be with her and ( hopefully ) rewards me accordingly.

I then explain that by a miraculous turn of events, we have two more games, the play offs. She packs me off to the Proact and then ( probably ) Milton Keynes with her full blessing, knowing I gave up my trip to Rammall Lane to be with her.

The result of all this....

I avoid giving the Blunts any of my hard earned cash, I get duly rewarded for my loyalty and commitment to my wife and then I enjoy her blessing as I watch us dump whoever we play out of the play offs on our way to Wembley...........again!!!

Nice thinking.

I've just told her I'm doing all three (hopefully four) and that's that.

i could not disgree any more, now is the time to get some freshness back into the legs for the final assault ,chasing a position above united on what could be a hottish spring afternoon, could finish off some players and we only have about 12 that are good enough.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

I've never got married. It's cheaper both ways.

Agreed. Going balls out next week could be a recipe for disaster.

Thats were I am....we have a starting 11, maybe 12 or 13 that on their day can match anyone, Bristol City aside...we can look at the permutations of who we should face in the play-offs and why, all day long and have no bearing on it...play a lads eleven next week and rest as many as possible!

It's a bit of a win win in my eyes who ever we face in the semis.

Swindon are in dire form, and the team out of MK and PNE who fail to go up automatically will be full of nerves and obviously still hurting by missing out by what could be a point or even goal difference.

Let's rest the lads next week, forget about bragging rights(We could well win those at Wembley) and give some of the fringe players a chance to impress. we have nothing to lose.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

On the other hand, we don't want to lose 2 in succession.
