B Teams In The Jpt

Interesting it says 47 out of 48 voted in favour of this. Who's decision was this to vote in favour for us and what possible benefits would we get?
Do they really think that more people will watch us play Stoke B Team than say Tranmere? Nah.
Once they have got their foot in the door the FA won't think twice and will have justification to start chucking these into the Leagues surely and we all know that will mean the end of the Football League as we know it.
Would really like someone on the Fans Forum to put this question to someone at the club and justify it.

However, I agree it's a scary thought. I imagine there's a bit of a carrot being dangled somewhere along the line - short term £££ for long term pain would be my guess. Either that or the Prem teams are blackmailing us in the same way they did with the EPPP.

It wouldn't be B teams it would potentially 16 Cat 1 U'21 teams

Has anyone consulted the sponsors about this I wonder
I'm sure it was the Johnstone's instance that resulted in the ruling about understrength teams
This article just about sums up all the arguments against

I wonder if we'll get a say?

Neither would I but was just clarifying it was not B teams but the Under 21's (which is a whole different thing)

Surely if the teams in the championship and premiership want to have a contest for their under 21/b teams there is enough revenue being thrown at those leagues to start one?
What next, premier league u16 teams in the FA Vase?

Why don't they just put some financial clout behind it, make a sky sports 6 or 7 and run a channel devoted to it, f*** off and leave us alone to enjoy our leagues ect...

Premier league clubs shouldn't receive development fees for players who have developed on loan at other clubs - the fees should be a protection for smaller clubs having their talent poached by bigger clubs
If a youth player has not played a certain amount of games for his parent club by a certain age they should be allowed to leave for free
If this means the big clubs will have smaller acadamies then so be it, more chance of smaller clubs getting some better players and giving them a game from a young age
Chelsea for example shouldn't be allowed to have the amount of players they do, all on loan in the hope that they will command a big fee or be good enough for them
The current structure harms development in my opinion
