Just had a blimp at the MK Dons message board, not quite as composed as it was after the two FA cup defeats, in fact it's close to meltdown (as it gets in Milton Keynes)
Couldn't happen Bobs Board

We didn't have the cutting edge first half, but could've had a couple
We hassled them all night and they gave the ball away time and again.
Exactly the same as the cup game, they didn't look up for it when they didn't have time.
I watched them take Oldham for 7, and Oldham stood off them all game - that was the difference.
Robinson was just on the radio saying that "he holds his hands up, he has to take full responsibility as it's his team, but 'they' had a player persistently fouling all night and nothing happened, but Lewington makes two fouls and he's off and he's got players out injured ...blah blah blah" - way to take responsibility Karl.
It's a lot easier to get sent off if one of the fouls is a body check with a forearm to the throat.

Oops!!
I like the one about their keeper (he's taking fair bit of stick)... 'I hate to say it, but I've currently got more faith in a Tory government than Ian McLoughlin'

Quote from their board amongst much moaning and one call for their manager to be sacked...
"Robbo-I'm sorry but how the **** can you lose to a **** chestefield side 3 times!!!"
Just read this reply to the above on the MK forum.
I agree with the sentiment, but by now means is automatic promotion over. We are only ONE POINT behind Preston who have a game in hand on us. Win next Saturday and we are back in the race quite easily.
I agree though, to be a goal up at home where we are very strong to end up losing 1-2 to a side we have played three times already and lost to, no lessons have been learnt. Draw minimum.
Chesterfield are a decent side, it's not a tragedy but its close.

Doncaster in 1981-2? League, League Cup and FL Cup- 2 draws and a loss.
In 1980-81 we played Sheff Utd at home in three different competitions and won 1-0 each time.

I recall some MK Dons fans saying their players weren't really interested in the FA Cup and it would be a different kettle of fish in the league game when they would, 'turn it on' and win easily.
Well, how wrong could they be. Three times we have played at their place and three times we have convincingly played them off the park. Those who couldn't get; you missed a gem of a Town performance. You can't beat an 88th minute winner. Still buzzing this morning.
Lewington thuggish second challenge deserved a red card. He wanted to remind Ariyibi he was there. His first tackle was hard; his second an elbow into his neck and the third a deliberate obstruction deservedly got him sent off.
