We can't keep a player of Duffy's quality out of the first xi.

Lee

Darikwa
Raglan
Hird
Jones

Duffy
Ryan
Morsy
Clucas

Armand (If not fit, Harrison)
Lavery

Core of the team still present and key to our long term success - Morsy and Ryan

COYB

Would be unfair to drop one of our own in O'Shea though. Been the most creative player on the pitch recently imo.

You're right it would be unfair....

We had O'Shea on loan a couple of seasons ago and Cook couldn't get him on the pitch until Port Vale away where we won 2-0 (oshea scoring first)....Whilst the team was doing OK at the time O'Shea would have made us even better.

Sure it will be the same case with Duffy in this situation. I'm a big O'Shea fan but Duffy will improve the side. I also feel that O'shea is better when played in the hole - Not quite suited to a 4-4-2 which the players seem to be enjoying at the moment

Any chance we might go 3-5-2 similar to how we finished against Doncaster?

Ha, back to football. Whatever next?.
I would like to see it 'cos I think our forrads, especially Armand, would benefit. Personally though, I don't think we currently have a good enough left sided centre half. It's very demanding. Hirdy is right footed, yet he was preferred to Jonesy when we tried it.

Funnily enough, the lad we've got in on loan is a left footed centre back.........

How much recent pitch time have Lavery and Duffy?

Isn't the Wednesday lad returning from injury, too?

My guess is Harrison will start as the lone front man, with possibly Duffy on the right of a 'three' behind him.

Lavery has been playing in swfc u21's since at least 25th November when they played a cfc XI, actually just found this so he was maybe ahead of schedule but he's not just back from injury

Lavery has had 90 minutes this season (spread over the last two months) Duffy has had 140 minutes since August

Armand to start if fit

What other options do we have?

Untried and non match-fit arrivals?

Banks?

I guess Cook might go four-four-two, with AG alongside Harrison and Duffy on the opposite flank to Clucas, but even that's something of a stab in the dark.

he has gone 442 for a few weeks now, no particular reason he should revert to 4231

I think we'll go 442 if Armands fit. Thinking about it oshea will probably start on the wing, just think he'll struggle for space in the middle of the three.

I wouldn't mind if we don't see banks in a blue shirt again

Is there anything to see or do in Nottingham before the game (apart from Hooters)?

There's plenty of other boozers, real ale pubs, at least 3 weatherspoons, a castle, caves, museum, boat rides, what do you want to do, I'm sure it's there if you know where to look

Where's the best place to go for some beers? And how far from the station?

Well depends what you want really. If you head straight out of station for town you come to the "waterfront" where there is a massive westherspoons and 4/5 other pubs, some of them do the bottled beers 3 for a fiver etc, or you can head up straight through the Broadmarsh shopping centre and head for town centre 10 mins away, there's 2 spoons off the square and plenty of others. Never any hassle wherever you go
