Yes, Anth has moved to the Woodside

And doesn't drink much these days, he's lost about 8 stone in the last 6 months! You probably wouldn't recognise him!

Shame to see the Rutland shut, and 7s to be fair, 2 places in a decent town centre location that should be able to make a go of it if they are run properly

And I agree with your point about pubs in town, there have been many changes to names etc in the 20 odd years I've been drinking round town, in fact The Rutland was one of the few Town centre pubs left that was pretty much the same as it was when I started drinking!

Good to hear he's got it together. As for the Rutland. I hope it reopens with same name and nothing the same inside it was not shabby more down to bad management. Sadly traditional pubs in the town centre seem to be disappearing and that's from someone that's only loved here 3.5 year! Was in the White swan often until it reopened with a different name and became some sort of Avant Garde jazz bar. No more bitters and imported German lagers. Don't even do Sunday lunch no more. Rutland could go same way

Absolutely brilliant, the stage show lighting everything was Bob on, sounded fantastic too, weather was crap but that couldn't spoil the night, even the highly overpriced lager couldn't ruin it,.. Get plenty down ya before hand tho, 5.50 for lager and 6 quid for dark fruit (only 2 alco available), was taking the urine, then ya had to buy the plastic pot😮😮.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Seems to be a week of pubs closing in the area. Pity anyone living in staveley as all in is also going to be turned Into flats. Not many pubs in that town is there. Only been once, seemed a presentable pub with good drink selection. Shame when pubs that are trading get turned into flats
https://www.derbyshi...flats-1-9828544

But on a brighter note the town is getting the new pub which will be going for record of smallest pub ever and steepest stairs. The old nines buretto is to become a micropub which will be packed to the rafters with nine in

I don't normally like watching Glastonbury on tv when it's sunny. It's much better to enjoy a bit of Schadenfreude when the weather's sh#tty. Nonetheless, Idles' performance on iPlayer is awesome. The crowd looked far too large for the Park stage.

being Scottish pob makes him edgier than bugg.
don't really know owt about him, had a look when my mate put he was watching him at Glastonbury.
probably watched/listened to Glastonbury less this year than any other & I don't think ive missed much. seems very bland.
fat bob & his gang had better have brought their A game tonight.

The only fat Bob that springs to mind was on Paul Calf.

Tonight’s headliner must the first ever that I have had to Google. I’m vaguely familiar with the name but had no idea who or what they are and have never knowingly heard a note of their music.

Robert smith has never been slim hence the nickname.
very good live but they do tend to meander so don't expect a greatest hits set.

I like them a lot and seen them quite a few times live. Definitely worth a listen. You've done well to have never heard anything by them...they've been big for a while.
