Turner you mean, more waffle and defensive crap, doing nothing but winding up those affected
,

I am not a Turner fan by any means but we sold them the right way up to a point, started by selling them to season ticket holders and whoever these member ticket holders are,the online system seems to be a big issue and of course the timing of the sales on Saturday morning....

By ordering 5700, CT expected unprecedented demand yet took no action to deal with it. I accuse him, again, of not caring. Like lots of poorly run companies, they neglect the capacity testing of new systems and then get caught out when they fail at the limits. There's no apology 'cos he's backing the cup euphoria to work in his favour.

The moving of the online sales is the main complaint, all he said was they moved the time because the demand was so high, then was surprised at the demand, whilst stating we had the best media team in football, yet they couldn't manage to get the revised announcement onto the right place on the website. He thinks we should be praising him because he didnt opt for 2,700 tickets. For me an interview on a par with his one following the FA's decision

This is where i am....the decision to sell 1 per season ticket\membership card was fine, yes there was the issue with the linking of accounts online but overall that was fine. In a way the decision to do general sale at 2:30am is fine providing they get the communication right but they messed up with the first story saying 10am then just updating that one to say 2:30am rather than a new one.

For all the talk about so and so went to so many matches etc etc once the season ticket\membership preference has been done there are all sorts of ways of selling tickets and all of them are going to upset some group of people somewhere along the line. If you read some on here then any sort of preferential option to a group of fans is wrong whilst some want them sold on a sliding scale to fans that went to such and such games...proving how no one system will suit all. Lessons to be learnt yes but whatever happens someone will be unhappy.

If a person was a ST holder and a member could they get 2 tickets (or are they linked)?

There have been complaints about sales for Wembley, Scunthorpe, and Derby; and it will happen again if the situation arises again.

I didn't neg you so i have removed it,he must have expected the demand like Dim View has said,i think the lack of information is appalling i was expecting a update friday tea time after season ticket holders had there dibs and how many were going on sale Saturday am but that never came and thinking about 5500 is a lot of tickets looking at our away following ok fair enough it is localish and it is Derby so everyone wants to go whether they are a regular or who just picks there games,Friday didn't look to be a busy day at the ticket office and ppl ambled up and bought tickets saying why all the who har etc, then of course the fiasco with saturday morning sales giving everyone a free for all when there wasn't that many tickets. Why 2.30am strange one that demand would have been there at 10am,it was advertised though because i saw it myself....

There was one person selling a ticket on facebook yesterday in a auction style way,how many more have been doing that....

Bit of a waste of time, all that.

Toby didn't really understand the supporters' grievance that the goalposts had been moved over times & method of sale and never really raised the question. I don't know if Chris understands that this is where the heart of the problem lies, but if he does, he didn't really come across that way, sadly.

There are so many inconsistencies with this whole situation.
* 1 ticket per season ticket holder
* (sod that, lets get rid) max 4 tickets general sale
* oh ******, we've sold too many at once
* Official Derby statement..Chesterfield have been allocated 5700 tickets
* CT, 'we only received 5500 tickets'

Seriously get a grip...don't try to kid the hand that feeds you!

* We are growing football club, with an enhanced reputation on the field
* We are no longer classed as a 'small' club
* We have Championship ambitions
* Our support, especially away from home, has been nothing short of exceptional!
* WE should have anticipated the demand for a big local derby

Guess what!? we didn't!!

Spot on. I don't care that mistakes are made if lessons are learned, but do we ever truly learn from our mistakes?? I'd like to bet that the next big game where we see a large demand for tickets we cock it all up again, and that really p!$$@$ me off as a devoted fan of this club how we continue to get it wrong time and time again.
Mistakes happen, so what, big deal as long as you can see/ own up to the mistakes and pledge that you will do everything in your power in trying to ensure these same mistakes don’t happen again; well I’m not holding my breath as we’ve all been here before and no doubt with some potential very big games coming up we'll all be here again very soon.

Maybe we received 5,700 tickets and after players/management got their allowance there was 5,500 left for sale?

Does it really help matters when tickets for example have been bought for people who didnt even know who we are playing on Saturday?

As I stated on an earlier post how many so called town fans will NOT be able to put names to faces as we shake hands prior to the match?

Could it be that 5700 seats have been taken out of the Derby capacity, but 200 are lost due to segregation areas resulting in 5500 available to buy?

It may be, but I thought Derby officially started theyd sent us 5700, so I expect that was the amount we could sell.

From the derby website -

Sales for the match have already exceeded the 20,000 mark, including away fans, and the Rams anticipate that number will continue to grow over the course of this week.

Due to different away allocation regulations for the FA Cup, Chesterfield have been allocated 5,700 seats in the East and South East sections of the iPro Stadium (East Lower I, G, H and half of F & East Upper J, I, H and half of G are the affected areas in the East Stand). Some Season Ticket Holders seated in the East Stand for League matches will not be able to purchase their regular match seats, instead those supporters will be able to purchase a seat that is not currently held by a 2014/15 Season Ticket Holder in a different area of the iPro Stadium.

Do the sums someone and you realise there weren't going to be many left for general sale.
