I genuinely hope this is wrong as I think we look a better side with boco in it. I would hope we offer him a fair contract and keep him but I would also back cookie to find someone else of a similar quality if we don't!

As for £4·5k a week for our top played player....total kak and financial suicide given our alleged £1·5 million budget...don't believe it for a minute!!!

Odd, the only thing coming official-ish out appears to be 'CFC will make a statement on this in next few days'

Has he gone? Do the club even know whether he's gone? In the close season, didn't he play a friendly for another club after he'd appeared for us, then returned to us? Has he done this again?

Or, are we waiting to time the announcement with some good news??

You may have been an absolute novice so I was taking no chances.

He was working at Jacksons packing pies a couple of afternoons a week.

I don't think he's right. On a night out I and a few other mates ended up having some drinks with the CFC management team. Numerous things were discussed and my mate asked "don't mention any names but how much is the top earner on"

3k a week was the reply....

3k sounds about what I'd expect our top earner would be in. I heard a rumour that Evo has an agreement in his contract that if he appears in another 10 games this season, he has to be offered a years extension on his contract; personally, I think Evo is quality (although lacks pace).
