If membership cards are given the same window to buy as ST's for future big games then I can see a drop in ST sales.

If a membership card is only a tenner but it gives equal rights in buying big match tickets as it did with the Derby game then there may be plenty of current or potential ST purchasers who will think what's the point.

Then there is the situation where thousands of membership cards are sold and there are then more ST and membership card holders than there are tickets for the match.

This board will go into meltdown if that happens.

Fair point. I dont have a ST due to work wtc. It would t be financially viable. But do have membership card. I was delighted to be able to get my ticket early. It was a little u expected!
I can inly assume that the relatively short turnaround and large number of tickets prompted this as it's not been standard.

Whats the point in having a membership card if it does not carry some form of reward a membership card carries no seat guarantee or reduced prices on seating so it has to have some benefit
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

Loyalty cards with a points system is the only fair way to go imo

I hope the club will have thought of this mate, I'm guessing the way they have handled this game won't set a precedent.

This is what they did with the original loyalty cards if I remember correctly.

I don't see it. Season ticket holder's main incentive is the same seat at a reduced rate.

I bought my season ticket to ensure that I have a seat in the ground. I like where I sit so I "buy my seat" for the season. Everything else is just a bonus.

Surely just release to ST holders first, then members, then general sale?
These go to eleven.

It should be if demand will exceed supply for the two groups.

Totally agree. I bought one hoping for first dibs after ST holders. That's suit me fine.

Just sell to members, after ST holders, so in effect they have second priority etc

I think that's how it has worked in the past, but presumably this time they put them together because there were more tickets available than there are st holders, so it didn't really affect st holders chances of getting a ticket

The ticket priority has to have some bearing.
God I hate this league.

Agreed. I don't see this as the problem.

I buy a Season Ticket every year - on occasions not getting my monies worth but I know I will have a seat - I simply cannot drive over and queue.

I had a Season Ticket for the 1997 Cup Run and decided then to continue what ever my circumstances.

Anyway as a Founder Member I have my name on my seat !
