I spoke to Evo last week after he had been for a interview at Cardiff but like Plymouth it's too far especially with kids in secondary school and he says he was paid up well and no need to rush unless something cropped up close to home

Why did he go for an interview if it's too far?

not going for an interview would be a bit short sighted. You dont know what could happen in a few years time. Lets say he impresses but doesnt get it/ doesnt want it but they are really impressed. Few years passes, kids out of school eg at university therefore not tied to the area, job comes up again.....

I did think he would have been a strong favourite for the Notts County job.

I would have thought Evo wouldn’t like working under the ‘model’ they have there

Perhaps made a complete mess of the interview so decided to take the route of not really wanting it anyway.

Isn't it a waxwork model that's been standing next to a space heater?

I’d say the same to be honest.

Seem to be a lot of talk that Wilder has left Sheff Utd...could be social media talk mind you.

According to our old friend Alan Biggs (who was blowing smoke up Turner's bum on 'X' last night following his speech at some Wednesday fans meeting) the Utd Board are meeting today, and that some of them want a 'change of direction'

If you were looking for a manager to get a club up from the Championship then Wilder would be top of most peoples shopping lists.

Seems to be some talk as well that Wilder is not happy with the direction they are heading with transfers. Apparently their latest signing has been done pretty much all on AI based stats type stuff and Wilder didnt want the player.

I'll not have a bad word said against that fine bastion of football finance and administration! https://x.com/i/stat...034293007102173

And as sure as night follows day, look at the slurps on this. https://x.com/AlanBi...894636596400597

I'm in two minds whether to rush for the sick bucket or to look up the word irony in the dictionary.

As much as I don’t like to see clubs run by dodgy owners I make an exception for the basket case that is SWFC. The fact that people like Turner and Biggs are blowing smoke up their own backsides just makes it funnier. Let’s hope they go to the wall. Never known a club and fans with such an over inflated opinion of themselves.

bastion?

That's not what I thought you'd call him...

Do you think he's just enjoying the attention or do you think he's putting himself in the shop window?
