Thats pretty much it its like some female graduate who is suddenly running the show and i have seen this happen and fail badly. If this was a permanent move it would be questionable even if it was a bloke who has never managed or coached senior players

I’d rather employ somebody who’s never managed rather than a failed manager.

I’m remembering a former football manager a few years ago. He was a specialist in failure; He got Wolves relegated, he got Doncaster relegated and then he joined Chesterfield, you remember what happened next? He’s one of those pundit experts these days, I don’t know how he qualified for that job though but I’d rather have the lady manager than him, I’d have put a school dinner lady in charge before hiring him.

When I first saw a picture of Hannah Dingley though I instantly thought she’s gonna fail at Forest Green. That wasn’t because she was a woman though, it was because I wasn’t wearing my glasses and I thought they’d hired Frank Lampard.

Female managers or striking railway personnel?

By the same token, you clearly will have a problem with a man being in charge of a woman's team. Is that the case?

Physicality (for the sake of argument) is the main difference betwean male and female football (I'd expand on that but can't be bothered).
Having read many memoirs of varying managers apparently a good manager gains credibility amongst his players by having "done it" and not being some bright student at some obscure University that specialise in nowt.

Don’t agree with that tbh.
Whether it’s football or the forces - it’s knowledge and authority rather than on field experience.
Having been a top player is only impressive for a couple of weeks.
(Not the best argument given the character of the 2 men but look at Saunders and James Rowe)

Man management, giving support to tactical nous.

Ignoring the ability to employ the 'dark arts' maybe good or bad. 🫣🤫

Graeme Le Saux used to be clever, he did a lot of cross words, not the ones in The Sun either, he did the hard ones in The Telegraph and he completed them most days. I also remember another (lower league) player (can’t remember the name) going on Countdown, he lost be he put up a good show. There’s some brain boxes in football if you look hard enough.

What do you think, whilst its weird a woman managing a male team cant see what harms shes doing to the wider public unlike some

If some bloke who was academy manager was suddenly promoted to first team manager at chestefield especially on a permanent basis im sure folk would complain and say it was a risky move etc but hey as its a woman its ok and anyone who disagrees is been sexist

'Duncan ferguson replaced by a woman, my dear god!'

It's very clear what your intentions were with this post.

Nicky Law was Football in the Community Officer, Dave Rushbury physio, if I recall correctly- not too many complained at the time.
These go to eleven.

I think the only one being sexist is you tbh.

It’s not weird- it’s unique yes.
She may be awful in her job - but then again many many men are too!

Ok question for you Holmes.
I’m a male- worked in football for many years.
Pro and semi pro.
I’ve managed lower league (very low)
I have my Eufa licence.

Would you rather have me managing FGR than the new manager? (because I know who would be better! - and it’s not me)!!

I seem to remember quite a few complained when Rushbury got appointed.

A lot of people here are wasting time trying to explain to an idiot why he is an idiot.
