Have I read it correctly that Forest Green have appointed Duncan Ferguson?

Certainly one out of left field.

Without wanting to be over stereotypical, I’d have had big Dunc more Millwall than the vegans.

Yeah its true, never saw that comeing

Genuine target for them is The Championship.

Haway they would bomb a place that size. Apart from luton teams who have gone from non league to championship generally dont stay there long

Good choice, who does that bielsa think he is with all his demands with the coaching staff and i suspect he would need that translater on tow which wont be cheap. Also as a added bonus dyche is on darren farleys roster, which will be a hoot

Bielsa is a great manager who knows how he likes to run things. No point in him going somewhere that won't accommodate his way. Dyche is the right man for this job at this time.

He'll get results, the football won't be great, but I do think he'll keep them up, and if he doesn't, he knows how to get a team outta the championship, so they should come strait back up

They may be one of the reasons they’ve appointed him.

Fairly standard practice i'd have thought that a manager tends to roll up with the same backroom staff, its Everton trying to convince him to go there if they want him so the prospective manager holds all the cards really.

Agreed

Assume Dyche will take Woan and Mercer with him, too.

Jim Goodwin (misnomer in that name!) gone at Aberdeen, getting thumped 5-0 by Hearts then losing to a 6th tier Scottish team in the cup then getting thumped 6-0 by Hibs will tend to do that!
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Jimmy Dean appointed manager at Scunny, Nelson reverts to head coach.

Not a name i recognised but apparently 3 titles and 11 trophies in 8 years at Peterborough Sports.

Nelson has done a cracking job tbf to him, especially given the circumstances... poor move by the new hierarchy
