SIMPLE QUESTIONS

1) Do we still need to be patient about signings? The mixed messages coming out of the club amount to: what are the likelihood of Adding to the squad no yes no yes no yes no yes no yes
No yes no. Yes yes.

2) if Parkin was on trial , why isn't he now?

3) what is the prospect of loan signings, either long or short term?

For me, point 3) could be quite a significant factor in how our season pans out

With regards to 3) - Listening to the Chris Turner interview on Peak, Turner states we "don't want to go down the loan signings road again as last time it cost us £300k". So I suspect the answer is None. Quite what we are going to do if we pick up injuries, is anybodies guess...

Time for serious comment and not banter. On your first point, I think the answer is yes. If PC want's someone and the price is right, that's fine. Point 2-thank goodness he's off elsewhere. PC's priority will still be to invest for the future. Point 3. Little prospect unless we want to look at a loanee with a view to a permanent deal. No problem with that and it even opens the door for Higdon. Keep watching the space!

Could we look to loan Higdon for a season?
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Probably not, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which would be the uncertainty for the player. But if a deal could be worked out for the January window, by which time there would be the potentially increased gates to be taken into account, it might still be a possibility.

You probably told your missus you loved her a dozen times a day when you first met. Doesn't mean that you don't love her anymore now that you only tell her "on special occasions". It's just that you've stopped being scared to lose her. LOL
