What do we think our budget is in comparison with the other l1 clubs?

I doubt it's in the bottom 4.

To some extent I dn't think that matters if we've got too much of it tied up in too few players. Injuries will do for us in my opinion.

Colchester, Crawley, Oldham, Rochdale, Wallsall, Yeovil, Port Vale, Crewe Notts County and Gillingham are going to be similar

Who is going to be lower out that lot?

Crewe, Rochdale, Crawley, Colchester?

we need to midtable or better from that mini league of 10 - and I think our squad is going to be good enough to achieve that.

A new hope.

There was a thread on this on the L2 forum the other week. All 'educated guesswork' but if the circa £1.2M quoted is correct then we are certainly in the bottom 6 or so alongside the likes of Crewe and Walsall.

fair point - although I can see us getting some good away results at our bottom end of the league competition
A new hope.

The current squad is much stronger than in 2011. Clearly we need a forward, but Goalkeeper, Defence and Midfield is as good as anything else in L1. Our squad in 2011 was nowhere near as good. Defensively it was a shambles and the midfield was too old and not good enough for League 1.

A season long loan for a Striker is probably our best bet and will most likely happen.
