I'd feel like we should have finished second.

Wouldn't they be better served by gloating on the blunts message board?

I cringe at comments like this, they have just achieved back to back promotions so well done to them, I really believe some on here are just jealous of what they have done, they are a similar sized club to us so we should be hoping to emulate them and use what they have done a yard stick, yes I have a dislike of them but I am also big enough to acknowledge what they have done and so soon after getting their new ground is top stuff.
We clearly got it wrong going up last time lets not make the same mistake again

We can't afford to go up and spend what Rotherham have, its that simple

Where is the proof of what rotherham have spent?
If we have championship ambitions we have to put the money in.

I doubt there's proof as such but look at their team - they've had some serious money put into them. Nothing wrong with that, though. Congrats to them.

Is this some kind of dry attempt at a joke? Not saying the idea of us getting playoffs is a joke but to EXPECT playoffs is a little much.

I haven't paid much attention to Rotherham, which players (that aren't loanees) are costing them so much?

Rotherhams budget is double ours.
Our budget this season was 8th in L2 - it will be 8th bottom in the league above.
Play offs as a minimum? Blimey your a hard man to please.

Next season I'll accept what we get, with the exception of relegation, after our last foray into a higher league! When expectation outweighs the reality that's when the wheels begin to fall off. I don't expect an endless supply of cash to fund our campaign next year, so I will say playoffs would be more than PC can give us next season. But I'd grab it with both hands if it were on the cards
Lower your sights a tad Happ!

Those players struggled to get out L2 last year and would they have caused shockwaves if we had signed them?
Good earners for sure but mega, no
