Beat me to it mate..a few weeks ago on here he was claiming Radford's wealth was around £200 million, now on Stagsnet he's basically saying he hasn't got a pot to p,1. 55 in...you couldn't make it up! :lol:

It's just unbelievable..one says that because the accounts are prior to their promotion to the League when all the league add ons are included the accounts next season will be much healthier!

Look guys, the comment about him being worth £200m was clearly a wind up. If I seriously believed or thought that we may have a slightly better squad than we do now, hey?

And come on Death, please. Surely you know by now anyone who disagrees with anyone who says anything remotely different or controversial on a messageboard is either a "tool", or some kind of "fantasist".

The facts IMO are fairly simple. We've struggled badly to survive in a poor league with a budget of £1.3m. Cutting that by two thirds would equal the lowest in the division. It doesn't bode well unless there are massive changes, but I am expecting some serious changes in the summer.

Does this mean that next season you will struggle even more on less money for players. I am also interested in what you see or know about will be the 'serious changes'... working turnstiles maybe :rolleyes: . Where do you see the shortfall coming from? Pop Concerts, Banqueting, crowd increase :rolleyes: raising gate prices, selling your decent players :rolleyes: 'bucket collections'

I'm at liberty not to say what I know about potential changes on our own board, let alone on here. Sorry.

Everyone knows (or perhaps some don't if you read the remainder of that thread) that cutting a playing budget will massively reduce the standard. Yes, the commercial side is improving, but the two suites are not very big and don't have a large capacity. As things stand I don't see the shortfall being made up at all, the fact we can only now sign loan players without a fee or wage contribution more or less backs this up. As far as I can see this won't be changing any time soon.
