I was going to go to the gym this morning, but thought better of it after yesterday. I did it once, the morning after a bad loss, never again.

They should have still been walking back, that would have been enough training and time for thought and maybe a deduction in wages and paid to the loyal fans who travelled, that will teach then to be complacent

They went in, had breakfast then listened to a summary of the game from the manager, he wasn't happy and words were said then they all seemed to drift away.

As long as this wasn't while Cook was giving his summary
Nothing wrong with this approach, what would be the point of making them do 20 laps of the pitch or whatever? The players need to know why they went wrong and have the belief drilled into them that if the situation comes about again they will be able to handle it/ see the game out, etc without folding like a deck of cards.
