I'm looking at the probable first team line up and I think the weakest link is... Talbot, maybe Richards! If these are our 'weak' areas I'm very happy indeed. I suspect most teams in the division would love either of those players.

What a squad Cook has assembled. Well done to Cook, Turner and Allen et al for helping to make it happen.

We have a very strong squad on paper. I just hope they perform to their potential.

Have to disagree, i think the weak link will be smith, hes ok going forward, but somtimes a bit suspicious defending

Talbot is no weak link..the most consistent player we have had for a long time!

Yeh hes great defending but could improve a lot when hes over the half way line. He just has to give ball to Roberts on a regular basis

What?? Surely you've got that the wrong way round??? You don't get past Smith he is an exceptional defender. For me his weakness is going forward. When in a forward position he sometimes freezes and looks unsure what to do resulting in him making the wrong decision... Defending I can't find a fault

Great News ! Well done CFC , at long,long last lets hope we now have the chance of a decent defence.

(Yes indeed right-back and Talbot being the ill-fitting first choice is the weak link, but one which, thanks to Talbot's shear effort,
I think we can be good enough to go up with, though I hope a proper RB will arrive before return to the third flight!)
