which means Cresswell has refused to go to Fleetwood and has told them he wants to come here, not what they want to hear as they lose out on the fee

bit of a daft question it's obvious what's upset them - we refuse to pay over the odds.

It is extremely amusing how they are using their local press to conduct their transfer negotiations. How many stories have they placed since it began? They have leaked all sorts of 'information', all seeking to position themselves as the goodies in their fans eyes; they no doubt want to be able to say 'we did everything we could to keep the player but those horrible bullies from chesterfield have put us in a position where we had no choice but to sell - and we made them pay a lot more than they originally offered - but we can't give details of the fee'. They seem to have taken the alleged 25k offer as fact, I however am not so sure we surely haven't offered such a low offer. I am also amazed at the 250k valuation, someone is playing games and the press are falling for it. I can see an undisclosed fee coming on, saying all that Southend are not in a position to turn any offer down, £500 and a bag of balls.

Cresswell impressed me at the Prolapse last season but he was not as good as Bruno.
