I'm puzzled by this - where are they getting the money to pay their players (late again last month apparently) and the fee Gills are demanding for Lee - the only answer I can see is that this deal would be funded by the money we paid for RC

I'm unsure. Lee isn't a natural centre half, more a centre mid/utility player (or so I'm led to believe).

last I saw they were still under a transfer embargo and could only sign freebies and then only up to a 19 man squad. Wonder if that's changed now and they are able to pay?
