I saw Ball play for Belper and he didn't score many. He was lightweight for that level, though I'm sure he's filled out since. His touch seemed okay but nothing about him said that he'd make a league player. Perhaps it's harsh to judge him on a few appearances at that level. I couldn't believe it when he came on and scored against us as I thought he was still a Nailer at the time- Donny had only just recalled him, I think.
