On crowds half the size of ours, the loans their chairman keeps making to the club may hurt them one day.

To come back in to the side, after being cast aside and transfer listed is a massive credit to him, and his professionalism. I wish some other members of the squad, not on the list, and not running out of contract showed the same commitment.

Their fans say they're not loans, their chairman gives the club money cos he's a fan?

i was never a fan of trotters but you cannot fault the fact he got fit was committed and played to the best of his ability till the end of the season, that is all you can ask of a player.

how do you make that out? our form in the last couple of months was excellent, if the season was a month longer we'd have made the autos never mind the play offs. Season ticket sales are going very well and everyone I've spoken to is excited by the forward momentum at the club. There is absolutely no cause to think our gates will fall. Typical nonsensical kneejerk put down I'm afraid. Some posters really don't think before posting, do they

We will always get the core support no matter who we play or how we are doing etc, say 3500. Anything above this all depends on the opposition and our position in the league etc, so it’s very hard to predict our average attendance for next year as this will depend on our form and league position. However, the budget can only be based on an assumption based on previous season etc.
If were top all season the crowds will be around 7000 (Home Fans)I'd imagine, but if we struggle it will be much lower with around 4000, so I’d say that the wage budget is based on a average of these two figures, so around 5500.

They couldnt muster much over 2000 whilst winning games galore and heading for promotion....are they all planning on rushing back for league 2!?!? We would have to plummet some way to be on a level with them.

You could say the same about the original comment as well....by carrying on as we are we have Cook turning up, narrowly missing out on the play offs after joining a third of the way into the season with a load of players initially he didnt sign, had to work hard to chop and change and then has made massive changes which many supporters have been wanting. That would suggest fans will turn up as they are seeing work being done and results on the pitch were decent...compared to Mansfield barely getting 2000 despite cantering, apart from the last few games, towards promotion.
