Surprised about Whittaker because from the pre-season friendlies I thought he had a bright future, does anyone know if he just dropped off through the season ?

He did. I don't think his strength developed enough. He was never dominant.

It's days like this when any manager earns his money. Not only does it give a good indication of which way the club is going but these decisions are what his future depends on.not to mention the fact that you are telling people that they are out of work and worse still you have to break it to youngsters that there dreams have just been shattered.
Big responsibility.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I thought watching him in the pre-season friendlies he was one to watch out for he just looked so composed on the ball , shame that.

I wonder what yet to be resolved means. Surely they have either been offered a contract or not. Unless they haven't bothered to turn up this morning.

Trotman out of anyone earned a contract imo and I find that very harsh indeed. Also sad to see Whits go but seems PC never favoured him.

Well, Brindley's injured so I assume they are leaving that until it's clearer, and Randall ... they're probably still fighting amongst themselves as to whether he's Bunkum or the best thing since sliced bread.

not really surprised with the list

I'd have kept Clay as I think he is an adequate squad player and can't take too much of the budget

Trotman done well enough this season, but Cook must think he can get better for that wage

PC must be schizo then as he's the only one left.

Pretty much what I expected apart from the realise of Clay.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

There won't be anyone left. Well have to have the players selling tickets, working in the club shop and selling the half time pies.

It'll be like that betting shop advert on tv.
Here we go again!

I think if its going to get done then this is the time to do it.

Early doors, get the dead wood out or the high wage earners and start building as soon as we can. Every season we seem to miss out on quality players because we aren't quick enough.

I for one am looking forward to a busy summer in the transfer market and seeing what squad cookie can build for us to challenge with.
