Ha ha ha

Black absorbs heat, so wearing it the only place you'll get sunburn is the places it doesn't cover!! (unless its mesh-thin!)
Can't see I've seen a date for its release anyway, so likelyhood is it won't be out in time for the summer holidays (unless you're going mid-late august). Especially if it was only ordered yesterday

It's partly right...whilst it won't be sunburn as the shirt covers the skin it could cause the body to warm up as the black material absorbs heat. Seem to remember our last black kit we had to wear a different away kit at the last minute for an early season away game I think at Wrexham where it was very warm on advice from the club doctor who said it could cause problems for players. That said I'm sure you'll be fine wearing it in a shaded, air conditioned bar!!

I can't believe the club thought it would be able to keep this fix under wraps from the fans. You truly know how to stoop to a new level CFC or should I say mr c.?

Yes vk will now only sponsor training kit and I'd rather not say who the company is as contracts not signed fully yet but are local and most will know the owners name.

I think this message board is a decent cross section of fans and the poll on here quite clearly showed the Green and White shirt clearly ahead. As in an election the polls arnt usually far wrong so from the moment someone posted prior to the vote that the Black shirt was already chosen then this snippet it really does get you wondering!

do you not remember the opinion polls getting it horribly wrong at a general election a few years ago? and then you think that a random poll on here might get the correct answer? I can point to half a dozen CFC fans who dont come on here and who would not have voted G&W - sure others can do the same.
Ian
PS without more facts and some concrete evidence the other snippet is tittle tattle and hearsay...and in my book as accurate as Kevin Davies rejoining in the summer without more to back it up!

Tittle tattle and hear say I here you call ,we'll if that's the case I'll be down to the club tomorrow with the thumb screws to extract a signed confession for you!!
This info is a nailed on dead cert but if you wish to take it as a pinch of salt so be it.

Reds, Whites & of course that Horrible Green Kit.
The Best away kit for me was the shiny Red & Black Kit in
the Cox era.

i have a replica of the black kit( yes still ) and the reason that one was warm is cos the material is so heavy for a sports shirt, its a very warm top even in winter when i wear mine ( cos i'm a bit nesh when it gets cold), its no wonder we didn't win too many games in it, the players must have been knackt after 25 mins in that.
