Don't think so. We'd just use bigger words to say the same sh#te.

Excellent repost!

When I did my degree the lecturer said on the first day, "when you qualify you'll probably still talk bollox, but it'll be educated bollox!"

what will nip this in the bud is an improvement in results, performances, evident effort and attitude by the players.

The man hasn't even been here 4 months yet, his first game in charge was 3rd Nov. But yes you are right and also he would do better with his own backroom staff and not Sheridans left overs, eg TW. MC.

agreed.

I agree! Paul Cook will weather the storm.

He has started by shoring up the defence, which has been a problem for years. Now he has something to build on, but has he got something to build with? Time will tell...

critical posts of Paul cook will be more easily nipped in the bud if improvements occur regarding results, performances, effort and attitude of players, if we continue losing and looking as bad as we have lateley, chances are the criticism will continue/increase

I stated on another thread that I think the reason why were struggling is because we have two different styles of footballers in the club. Paul Cooks type of player ( workers) and John Sheridans skilful players.
The clash on the pitch is a huge one and that's why it's not working right now. I'm confident that its not gonna be too long before that little spark will happen and we'll look back at this moment with disbelief.

Reading the threads that are being started about Paul Cook, they are starting to have a common ground. " let's slag him off", this is ranging from who he's signed to how he plays them.
C'mon folk, lets nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand. Ok the past few games have been dire there's no argument from me on that but what we don't need is a growth in momentum against a bloke who has only been at our club for 6 months. This season was hyped up a bit by all of us when we saw the calibre of players we were signing at the start, we all know that they aren't living upto their capabilities but we also know that they aren't rubbish players.
We had a big momentum build up against John Sheridan that got most people dancing in the streets when he went off trimming his grass, causing a farcical display when waiting for a successor to come in. If we let things build up as they are we will end up as big a joke as Blackburn have been this season. Do we really want that?
For as bad as what we are we aren't relegation fodder, so why don't we just write off this season as a big learning curve and let Paul Cook get on with his job without all the added pressures of the supporters getting on his back?
Lets not have this turn into a witch hunt as big as it was with JS, when he couldn't sit down and watch a match without somebody writing a thread about him.

Exactly how many points from the drop zone? Are we closer to the drop zone than the playoffs? Points wise that is. I don't think for a minute we will go down but don't think for a minute we are safe. We are playing relegation football at the moment and have been since Christmas

So what are you saying then Fishini?
You don't think for a minute that were safe but you don't think we're gonna go down.
Jeez! Make a decision man!

See your point, but what I am saying is that even though I don't think we will go down doesn't mean we won't. The league says we are far from safety. 1 win in 7 says it all

We could just introduce a IQ test into the registration. That would reduce the silly posts. But it wouldn't be much fun then.

It should be 'an'' IQ test
