That would be the bloke who was born in Palestine to a Greek Christian family who stirs up your patriotism, wouldn't it?

Homo sapiens emerged around 200,000 years ago..... how old is the idea of being 'English'? About 1500 years at the most, with the Anglo-Saxon migrations in from Germany..... less than 1% of the time mankind has been on Earth in its modern form.
These go to eleven.

Just trying to highlight that we are all humans and that by using out-of-date/incorrect references to past (in)glories does nothing but inflame differences between nations/religions.

Not sure where you get any of that from if you re-read my post, but as you appear to know my mind better than I do, I will bow to your superior knowledge.

I learned from Shoot/Match that Bryan Robson is married to Denise, born in Chester-Le-Street, and that all footballers in the 80s loved Luther Vandross.
These go to eleven.

That was one of the million pound questions on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. IIRC the bloke neshed it and there was an added irony that his name was Peter Lee.
