Yep I get the impression my ?platinum? tickets are bog standard seats that turned to platinum when there were only a few left.

It?s an absolute racket

Why bother if you know you are being ripped off

Cheapest on StubHub were just under 900 earlier.

That racket is an absolute disgrace.

Thought they said the were clamping down on the resale sites - is that just an empty threat

It?s on Ticket master mate , so it?s not a resale site, just a price adjustment by the event organisers.
It seems two tier standards are spreading!

Sorry, I thought StubHub was a resale site? Never bought off them so I wouldn't know

Westbars reported 900 quid is some price adjustment

There may be some issues with stub hub, I?m not sure, but the Ticketmaster official price risers and very poor at best

Well I?d spent 3 hours queueing this morning so wanted to get something and having tried all the standard ticket options in 2s 3s and 4s and it repeatedly saying option wasn?t available, I had to make a snap decision.

Official resale rules are you can sell them at face value (including all the add on fees) so I knew I would have no problem getting my money back if I decided against it later on. But in all honesty, when I saw ?platinum tickets? my initial thoughts were that they some sort of VIP tickets anyway, hence why they were still left.

It was only once I?d secured them and later googled what the platinum package was, that it appears platinum package is Ticketmaster?s way of saying there?s literally a handful left so we?re gonna have your pants down for a laugh.

There?ll be plenty paying more than ?300 a pop for these tickets so it was a shot to nothing really. Now for the real fun, getting some affordable accommodation in the smoke 😬

Mine are seats at Wembley, definitely wouldn?t have paid ?300 for owt at Heaton Park. Literally the experience of standing on a hill as I did 15 years ago. No thanks

I'd offer to help but frankly I know we have no offers on for any oasis date as they were all pulled as soon as dates were announced, even for staff!
ETA I know we have two night packages for about £850....room for two, bit more for a room for 4.

My sons flat, 15 min walk. If he has any sense he will move in with me on gig nights and rent it to people going for a couple of hundred a night... ;)

Blimey, bit out of touch with current pricing.

Sure I only paid 10/- to see Tommy Steele

Ricky Gervais doesn't strike me as particularly left wing.
