Jamie Cade continues to be punished by the gods for taking Colchester's big-bucks offer over ours - he's just signed for Horsham, while Peter Till has joined Solihull Moors from Tamworth.

I'm still surprised that out of those that left at the end of the season, only Clay and Brindley have got clubs

I thought Danny W went to Plymouth, and Rich Od to Scunthorpe, did these moves not happen in the end?

You are right - I'm amazed that some conference side haven't picked up Randall by now!

I'd forgot all about Peter Till. He wasn't very good at all.

I was going to say 'Boooo', as I still live in hope that we will see him in a Town shirt again...

...Then I remembered who Tranmere play in the first round of the C1C.

They aren't going to know what has hit them!

True, shame many people disliked him while he was here.

Apart from a few sceptics, myself included, questioning the need for another CM at the time of his arrival I don't recall Atkinson getting much flak at all. Certainly not 'many people' like you suggest.

Surely DW shouldn't find it hard to get himself a club. Quality player at this level. Saw on Twitter the other day that he was attending one of Mark Allott's Coaching sessions

We could do with a utility player like him. Townsend seems to be the obvious choice?!

Agree, I would like to see him here as well, think his future at Hull has not been determined, also depends if he wants to take a squad type role at this stage too.

won't be anywhere near the first team at Hull. He'll be looking at his options; I don't think he'll get better than we could offer; Grimsby may be interested but that's a big step down

Didn't mean being in or around the first team at Hull, although they may keep him on and ship him out on loan again, I meant he may not want to take a squad role with us, as I can't see him starting many games with a fully fit Smith available, he may decide more regular first team football elsewhere would be a better option at this stage in his career.
