I quite liked Larkin.
I'd sooner have Smith and Dan,

think he's been converted into a winger since hasn't he?
I recall his scoring record was one of the reasons we got relegated, him and wayne allison just wasn't a potent strike force. Think Jamie Ward was injured if the memory serves me right.

Anyone any idea if aside from Dean Morgan any of our released players haven't found clubs?

I agree, they must be paying him a decent wage for that level, one of 9 new signings for Staveley
A good signing?....he must be 38,he has had more clubs than jack nicholas,i think he has had a new club every year since retford united, its a bit old for a winger who relies on pace.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

last seasons youth team keeper Sam West appears to also have signed for Staveley as he's saved a penalty tonight in their FA Cup replay at Bamber Bridge (losing 4-2)

Interesting comment from Manny on Saturday, when I asked him about his time on trial here.
Said he spent 3 weeks on trial, only to be told at the end of it that we were only looking to sign a Left Back anyway!!
Seems the then manager's very public backing and faith in Smith was not exactly the case in reality!
