I think releasing him was stupidity.

I think we got sick of paying for crocked players.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I'd still have Robertson as third/fourth choice CB and second choice LB, he won't have been on much.

Interesting - especially given Lowry failed a medical there. Robertson is also a left sided player who can play left wing if we're short on players.

latest on Lowry

it sounds like it's make or break time for him. If he gets the all clear he signs, if he doesn't it's career over

such a shame, I thought when he was making the grade in the first team Jamie Lowry would be the next big thing for us - someone we may sell on for a decent sum of money in the future. Hopefully he'll get a deal somewhere if not at Crewe, maybe even pay as you play, but not sure he could afford to do that given his record recently.

Wouldn't have thought Crewe would be keen on signing two injury prone players, although they would both be great signings if they can get back to their best.

ALL the best of luck to both players.

Indeed, depends on how much of the reported 3 million they got for him they reinvest. With their debts I can't imagine it'll be much

I remember Muggs at Saltergate as part of Notts County's reserve setup.

That website tells me that Laurie Dudfield is managing Quorn (the Leics club rather than the tasty alternative to meat).
These go to eleven.

Muggs was up here last season with Notts C. He looked like a spare part stood next to Martin Allen.

The only thing Allen wants stood next to him is a full-length mirror.

Mark Hudson ended the season at West Auckland Town, where his dad is involved

http://www.westauckl...age=mark-hudson

his deal was till the end of the season but he still appears on the club's current players page. He played for them at wembley in last year's FA Vase final -they lost

browzing the web, I see Luke Beckett ended last season at Goole in the NPL, according to Wiki Chris Perkins is studying Geology at University in Portsmouth (and given their finances could be called into the Pompey team  ), Tcham N'Toya is still at Maccabi Herzliya F.C. in Israel and Martin Gritton was last heard of at Truro City

http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17447148

Truro are in the mire, with a WUP currently adjourned, and the subject of a transfer embargo. There are no player details on their website and there is no guarantee they will start the season. I'd imagine he'll move elsewhere if he can!

Didn't realise that. I go to watch Goole occasionally as it's only four or five miles down the road. He must be their biggest 'name' in their squad for quite a while.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story
