Jordan Bowery cost Rotherham around £41,666 per goal. Got to go down as the biggest flop in the club's history. #rufc

Anything is better than not playing. I hope for Matlock's sake it works out better than recent loans as I can't think of any that have been anything like successful.

Gnanduillet's worked out, but if you're talking about young'uns doing well at Evo-Stik sort of level on loan, then yes, it's difficult to think of one where the lad is supposed to have done well. I suppose the game at that level is physical enough to be difficult for players not yet physically fully developed, and I guess they spend most of the week training with Town since they will be on full-time contracts and the Evo-stik players on part-time deals. None of this can help the loanees. Can't think of any loanees from league clubs who have made an impact for Belper.

Can't really say. Time will tell... He could well knock them in for fun for all we know as it's been a long time since he was here and he could have developed a lot to his game since he left as a youngster. It might just be a case of the higher level being a step too far. Regular game time will help no end. Also I know folk have knocked his three game stint at Bradford, but he'd just come back from an injury so you can't read too much into that.
