Long term no he wasn't, but for that month he was as wrong as he could have been.

That month was the worst of his entire tenure here. Very strange time.

That was the month Cook decided he was off.

Roberts was injured, and he wanted to sign Johnson....he tried to play a bit of politics by not playing johnson and to show the board we are a bit weak and needed to buy him. Remember his loyalty to our own players, and fans be patient you might not like what im trying to do comments?

Well it proved that without Roberts/Johnson we were a bit weaker....and also proved the club was potless and wouldnt spend a penny.
A new hope.

Losing at home to Clipstone, eh. That's pretty grim. What league are they in these days?

Two players who've turned out for us on loan and they'll be facing us (presumably) at the Lane this season.

John McGrath looks like a good signing for them.

11 goals for Halifax last season. Dont know if he was their main striker. Gregory's strike rate was exceptional.

Isn't that where Jamie Jackson is currently playing?

Good luck to Jamie Ward. One the most exciting players we have seen over recent years. Some of the goals he scored for town were top draw. Credit to McFarland.

I still remember Ward setting up Jack Lester (with a perfectly measured hook from the byeline) for a superb volleyed shot past the keeper at Lincoln city, back about Autumn of 2007.

What, recently?

This close season just elapsed?

Hasn't he been there before?
