Yeah mate I didn't take to it at all. Had sautéed reindeer one day and a steak another day.

Finnish Lapland, a place called Levi, I've been there twice skiing, minus 37c in the village last time I went, the restaurants there are fantastic.

Ahh I went to yllas. Very close to Levi I think. It's a beautiful place isn't it? We missed the northern lights though - they did make an appearance whilst we were there but we was drunk in our log cabin that night - typical.

Think the coldest we had was -20. I really do believe its one of the most beautiful places on earth though. Reindeer roaming free round our log cabin in the middle of the woods.

I'm hoping to take my 4 year old to Levi next December.

Eating reindeer with a Dasher of mustard can turn you in to Cupid and make you Dancer and Prancer all night long. I can't Comet on this myself as I didn't try it, but it turned my wife in to a real Vixen.
I had a Donner with a Dasher of chilli sauce, but the lid came off and I Blitzen it with half the bottle which blew my head off and left me with a shiny red nose :ninja:

Saw the Northern Lights 1st time when we stayed in a cabin, 2nd time we stayed in a spa hotel, they did wake up calls when the lights did an appearance but I didnt subscribe, we did a brilliant snow mobile safari one night, flying across these frozen lakes, it really is magical, my lads six, (I think its cheaper to go skiing for a week in January than a 1 night santa trip) i'm taking him skiing in 2014, Ive got one last solo pass with the lads next March!

First time we went we never saw less than minus 6 which is balmy for over there.

Jammy bleeder! I'd love to see the aurora. Stuff Blackpool or Vegas; if I'm seeing the lights then I want to do it properly.

Yeah we went in January for honeymoon but we didn't go skiing. We just wanted a wintery magical place to visit. Went on the husky dogs through the woods and on a snow mobile thing to the middle of nowhere. Also visited the ice hotel.

I loved every minute of it. A really beautiful place.

Not tried reindeer but I tried seal in Norway. I may as well have poured salt directly into my mouth - horrible salty, fatty meat.

The concourse on the kop really is sh..... Poor. Unless you go down well before halftime, you miss the start of the 2nd half and you can only get a drink. That's 1 thing you don't get on the west stand. At least there's food left, although I'm too tight to eat in the ground now :-D
Here we go again!
