Pleased you're praising Danny, and last season was a shocker for him. But to say you've never been a 'fan' makes me wonder as to your ability to sus out a decent player ?? He scored , what was it? 12 goals in the promotion season? Yes, plenty of penalties but he sticks them away. But for me he's easily the most creative midfielder we have, or have had since Peter Leven or Marcus Ebdon.
Our best player so far by a mile this season.

You have seen the light. I think L2 is a factor in Danny showing up so well again.

Best player on the pitch against Oldham, from the division above.
Putting playes in their most comfortable position makes no end of difference, and I'm sure Whitaker will be enjoying his football much more this season.

Forbes is up there I agree. Togwell? No. Last couple of games then maybe but he's struggled until Cooks appointment.

Why defensive midfielders get so much stick?

In your opinion. I'd be interested to see some substance to the definition of 'class'. He played really well last Saturday and I'll applaud him for that but up until then he's been average at best.

Togwell got off to a slow start, but having said that, with each game he's played there's been gradual improvement.
A good player who's had a very good September & October.

For me, Danny's ability has never been an issue.
Great player at this level (or the one above) if used in his rightful position. I hope he's now being appreciated for what he does contribute rather than barracked for not putting the boot in which will never be his bag. Love watching him - our creativity suffers alarmingly when he's missing.
