One of the worst sides i have seen in ages....we made em look poor.
Goater deserves to be sent to pasture.
They only just beat us with 12 men against 10 in the second half!

Are Southend top of the division?
One of the worst sides i have seen in ages....we made em look poor.
Goater deserves to be sent to pasture.
They only just beat us with 12 men against 10 in the second half!

I said that earlier. If Southend are top, then we should easily get to play offs, especially if we continue playing like we did today

They had 10 for a long long time in the first half. Just a point.

Some people make me larf. Juding a team on one game. If Hatlepool fans were saying we deserved to be relegated going on fridays game, you would be at them like like a bullet. I'm not saying they were great today because they wasn't, but just because they didn't play amazing doesn't mean they don't deserve to be top....

What, for about 5 minutes?
I took my Brazilian colleague to the game again today and from a neutral perspective he thought Southend were very poor and that Chesterfield controlled the game even when we were down to 10 men and playing against 12. As for the referee, he couldn't believe how bad he was and when you've seen Brazilian referee's, that's some statement!!

Their left side midfielder went off with a head injury after the clash with Kovacs after 15mins and was off for the rest of the half!

So you didn't see him come back on then?!
He tried to come back on after a couple of minutes but had no number on his shirt so the ref wouldn't allow him but then he got another shirt on and came on. You don't seriously think the Southend manager would play 30 mins of the first half with 10 men do you?!

I only counted 10 players towards the end of the half....mind you my mate says I talk out of my bottom somtimes, must have been looking out of it at that moment
