I would just like to point out that after my call to Radio Sheffield post Exeter away, even though we had won I did put in a dispairing call and commented that my club was in 'freefall'.

I took a fair bit of stick for that but two matches on, two home defeats later with crowds dwindling, slipping further down the table I think what I said was justified.

In my opinion with the revelation of the standard of training and the mistake over Evans I honestly can say they are the luckiest two people still to have a job in Football today. What thet have done over the last eleven games has been nothing short of diabolical. TW/MC are not up to Managing a football club and have been ruthlessly exposed.

It pains me to say that they are just 'one of the lads' and even though TW comes over ok in interviews his judgement on training etc smacks of rank amatuerism and any respect I had for them has gone right out of the window.

I find it hard to feel sorry for somebody who is worth around £100 million quid, but I make an exception for our Chairman who has been let down in a massive way. No doubt he can be blunt at times but his interview this week to Rob Staton at least gave me the confidence we have an outstanding man at the helm, he speaks not just as an owner but as a fan. Those 4mins and 27 sec were worth all the months of relevent silence.

To finish on a positive I would like to wish Paul Cook all the best as our new Manager and boy after todays shower he is going to need it! He gets my full support and lets hope that on Monday morning he starts to implement the change that is desperatly needed.

Lets hope tomorrow(edit) heralds a new start for Chesterfield Football Club.

Onwards and upwards

How I feel at the moment finishing mid-table will be a relief!! Stop the rot and push on next season.

I find Earl Grey tends to go down the best.

That Yorkshire stuff tends to rankle, and gets stuck in my throat.

If you break 'a dignified silence' are you being undignified? Just a thought.

And if you was mad at the person for doing so, would you show your indignation?
