Sounds a bit peeved.

And so he should be, he has squandered a lot of his own money.

Very interesting. Not putting his hand in his pocket again to fund deals - don't blame him. Seems like he's far more hands on that he ever expected to be too - commented on Richard's injury. Said it's unacceptable to sign players and them not to be involved. Again I fully agree.

I like the idea of them earning their money properly by training harder than they do now.

It's alight him moaning about it but he was the one who let it happen. Maybe he sees it as being let down by his trusted Lieutenant Mr Turner.

He took his eye off the ball and its cost him dearly.

He openly admitted that the reign of TW and Mc wasn’t good enough – “No further forward”. I liked the fact he raised the training issue as well. We’ve all been saying we are not fit enough for the past year. Well done Dave Allen.
If only....

scathing of Wright.... 'Nothings improved under him, bringing in players and not playing them unnacceptable, dont train hard enough etc"

Whilst TW and MC remain, sounds to me like DA trying to press buttons and hope they resign, for obvious financial reasons...

He's right its not Rocket Science. These football guys who know nothing about the outside world make it all too complicated. Look at how we overplay within 18 yard box, no evidence of coaching on the basis of keeping it simple, why don't our players know they have to get to the by line before crossing it. They always cross from about 18 yard box line, making it a defenders ball 90/10. cross from the by line and its 90/10 to the attackers. its stuff I was taught as a 15 year old schoolboy for crying out loud. And whilst on our current defenders are hoofing up in the air instead of to feet, especially Ridehalgh. That is down to coaching, its like he doesn't know what to do with it. This said some movement from forwards is required and not into offside positions, another annoying feature of our play. has no one ever taken Craig Westcarr to one side and explained the offside rule?

Anyway better things to come hopefully.

For me Dave Allen is a genuine guy, he's got involved when he really didn't want or need to and he's given people every chance to hang themselves. I think if you were employed by Dave Allen you'd have every opportunity to shine and if you didn't after a while then we'd have to see about it. I'm sure Paul Cook can't wait to get started working for him and us.

i have to say i was impressed by this. saying what a great many of us have been saying on the boards and terraces. poor training, poor management, acknowledgment that we have a big enough and well paid squad. interesting comment re evans, again backing what we stated a couple of weeks ago re why sign a player who is "weeks" away from the first team? we do need to be fitter, we do need to be more professional and we do need to improve. well done and good luck mr cook, heres hoping that this appointment works.

Don't get me wrong, I liked what I heard but he has to shoulder some of the blame. If he wasn't happy, why the hell did he extend Sheridans contract?

Onwards and upwards and I wish Paul Cook all the very best. The players are in for a shock. Good, it's time they earned their crust.

On the back of this interview, how can TW and MC remain, if theyre central to the lazy old regime?

Probably the most frank, honest and hard hitting interview that i have ever heard....and every word is true,i said a while back we need a sergeant major running this lot, lets hope cook is that man.I also expect the players to be absolutely cacking themselves, the new regime will sort out the lily livered amongst them, there will be no mates culture at town,i think allen wants them being trained like westley did with stevanage.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

I think questions need to be asked about Shane Nicholson's role as well?

You really have to laugh, from stars to s*** in the space of a few months!

A little birdy told me that Norm's interview earlier in the week upset a few people.
