Is having Mark Crossley such a bad thing? Done a fantastic job with Tommy Lee. Tommy Wright may also be a good coach, just currently falling short on skills required for manager.

Sadly I think we're stuck with them.

You're working now with Tommy and Mark, do you know them?
Yes, I'm delighted. I had great backroom staff at Accrington who I worked with - obviously when I came here, the job spec was to work with the lads and no-one has a problem with that."

not if they decide to go, he can say what he likes to the press, doesn't mean he's happy with it and could do his best to send tommy packing. Or he could be very happy with tommy, no one knows, but I would imagine we would find out in the next couple of weeks

Nothing against Tommy, but i do feel Paul Cook, need's to bring his own man in as his number two.Mark Crossley, should be kept on,only as a goalkeeping coach, that mean's just working with the keeper's,with no input into team tactic's..Would not suprise me if there is a parting of the waves sometime soon.

he didn't bring a No2 with him from Sligo to Accrington or when joining Sligo. so at least has experience of being in this situation, although he was a former team mate of Richardson's

Just so long as Richardson doesn't turn up with one of these in the boot of his car.

What is this myth about Crossley working wonders with Tommy Lee. The fact is Tommy Lee is a very good keeper and has always had the potential and the fact that MC takes all the credit for it is ridiculous.

In all fairness Tommy is one of the first to admit that MC has helped his game

Strange that people think he's done wonders with Tommy when he's failed with every other keeper we have had

What is all this! PC said he can work with them! And for the present that's enough for me. Neither are in the top job, Lets leave it at that and support ALL at the club in an effort to get us out of this league.

When JS first turned up, he picked Crossley for a few games so it was fairly obvious they didnt rate him that highly. He has improved no end under Crossley, and Tommy himself has admitted as much
A new hope.
