ok we have the new boss, and listening to his interviews,(which tbh have sounded very positive and refeshing), but can we really expect him to perform miracles with what he's been left with, it took sheridan a season to put his own stamp on things, should/can we expect anything other from the cookie monster, so do we write this season off and expect a big season next yr, or should we still be expected to push for promotion this season??

personally i would settle for a big push next yr, just as long as we could see progression in the team this yr, meaning a better style, better workrate, and more commitment etc, with an outside hope of making the playoff final
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

This season is already a write off, lets just make sure we don't get dragged into a relegation dog fight

 I think after todays showing PC will need to lower his sights if he's a realist. The players have shown him they are not up to it.The new gaffer will need time to put a squad together to compete for promotion.
Many a good tune

Its a big task with the players we've got but you never know,if he is given the backing and can ship the deadwood out and bring some decent players in then it might just might happen,i'm trying to be positive but its hard.

Start with a cup win next weekend then we'll get our season off on the right track. We'll probably have to settle for the play-offs, but another win at wembley wouldn't be a bad thing.Come on Cooky get us moving up that league.

on the face of it yes it is a write off, i thought players put in some effort today but as a group that's about as good as we are at the moment unable to wrestle a point at home to barnet and if cook can only bring players in if he gets some out he's got a right job on. With regards to this players in for players out policy, who on earth is going to want to take any of the deadwood we have, i'm not talking about the whole squad here because we have some good players who we will need but those who are surplus to requirements will simply not attract clubs = go with what we have = mid table finish at best.

It is not a big task for a good manager/leader to get Lee, Hird, Forbes, Smith, Togwell, Lester, Richards, Boa Morte, Whitaker, Allott, Trotman, Talbot plus whoever to the playoffs. That's what he has been tasked with and apparently agreed to. We have been poor all season but Cook has the best squad of players that he has ever worked with so we will see how good he is. If he is a great manager he might even get something out of Westcarr but I think he is odds on to go in January. And I forgot Darikwa.

What's it matter to you.

I thought you were never going again?

At least Fish is there every week, rain or shine, thick or thin.

Did you hear PC's interview about Liverpool supporters, and how he's one of them.

Support the club, be constructive, or f**k off.

Edit- Again. Apologies.

I presume that's not a quote from Cook!

Don't accept write-off in October.

If DA feels TW hadn't done enough in ten league matches then I'm expecting PC to do better in his next 9 as he's failed in one as far as I'm concerned. He can say TW picked the team but he should have had a say in the formation and this was diabolically defensive against the bottom team in the division.

We are 6 points off the play-offs and a good run should be expected from the new manager and JS's so called quality signings - all of whom have been less than impressive so far and not as good as those got rid of.

Trouble is Dema the deadwood includes the so-called quality overpaid recent signings and these will take some moving on.

I think the best we can hope for this season is a play off place which at this moment in time I'd take.
