Heard from a few people now, and someone at Sheff U who is close to the team, "someone who checks them out from time to time if they get ill"...... that we are on the verge of signing Briane Deane on loan from them.

Again, its only speculation, heard it from someone i trust, but i would be happy with that signing. Anyone else heard this?

We really need to keep getting behind the team at the moment through this sticky period, and we can still quite easily make the play offs, four points is nothing!!!

I hope Forest don't do what Wednesday did...when they sacked Turner and installed Sturrock, they becamse a different team and got promoted. i seriously hope forest stay in our league not just for the revenue, but because it is a big game, i like playing these teams who have dropped down to our level, knowing that we can easily beat them.

Difference between Wednesday and Forest is Sturrock was brought in early enough in the season to make a difference (end of September) - the new Forest manager will not have enough time to change things this season (and he cannot buy any-one as the transfer window has closed)

Regarding Brian Deane, he is the type of player we need (chief-like) but I can't see it happening.
This week, I have been mostly... drinking excessively

Yeah you're right, but he's only a bit of cover I think. He hasn't played for them yet I don't think but he may be injured of course. I'm not sure.

Yeah he has not been there long, but he's even behind Bruce Dyer in the pecking order so i hear he wants some football.

Like i said, rumours are rumours, but i hope this can happen!

Went to the match against reading, Bruce Dyer looked a decent player very hardworking same as Akinbiyi. Had a chat with a few of the fans, Chiefs still a legend there think he scored against Wednesday at some point.

We've got Wayne Allison!...

In Roys interview he says he is happy with the strikers he has. After that he has said that I am really starting to question his judgement. How can he say the likes of TNT, Folan and Smith are good enough.
A total of 8 goals in the last 10 games is that good enough for a team in the top half of the table - get real Roy

My wish was always to see the club in the Championship before I die but they have let me down
