I would hazard a guess that Marc Richards wage is circa £3,500 per week the equivalent of half the Accrington' Stanley side.

You'd say AS starting 11 are on £500 a week?

Thanks.

I would hazard a guess that although both in L2, CFC are traditionally a much bigger club than, the likeable and over achieving AS, so it's entirely plausible. (He's not on 3.5k btw).

Which begs the question......

What's your point??

Nippy tonight eh?

Can you put a disclaimer in title that thread contains guesswork and rubbish?

I imagine half on Stanley side earn overa grand a week so I make that 5.5k or probably double MRs wage...... But like you I am guessing too!

Remind me again, are we not winning whilst you type this?

Didn't listen to the game due to work but would it be fair to say that whatever he is on per week (and I'm sure that it is isn't the equivalent of the entire Accrington XI) we should be trying to attract players who demand a decent return for their talents? Or should we be just looking out for bargain basement players?

Look on the bright side, if he is injured and with the cold weather coming, you will hardly ever have to watch him play

If it is true why are you "hazarding a guess"?

Another attention seeker at work, hence the comment regarding "off to watch Real Madrid V Man City", like Ernie pointed out its cold getting so he won't have to bother for long.

Considering the final score was 4-3 to us, I'd say it was us!

johnny you have said on another thread you understand football in an argument against dema...dont undermine yourself by letting the score indicate a true reflection of the quality of both sides,we had a legend playing for us that made the difference, yet again sir jack bails cfc out the mire,we are still relying on a 37 year old man because the rest of the squad is as sterile and unimaginative as it can get.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

They hit the bar, then we should have been 3 nil up, then our goalie handed 'em 3 goals. Then we scored from a set piece.
...so I 'm not into the sterile bit, but I agree about the unimaginative bit. If 2 players, Westcarr and Drew, are on the night completely unable to produce anything constructive from those very important positions then it's always going to be a struggle against any opposition. Indeed, it was their fullbacks that were the stars, supporting the attacks without fear and creating the extra possession in midfield and attack.
Unlike most folk, I thought Trotts and Hird did well defensively. Ok, they got themselves in big trouble trying silly passes, but I can't remember our goalie having much else to save, which is fortunate.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

If we choose to have a legend in the squad then its our choice and we shouldn't apologise for it or say we are relying on him. He is an integral part of the squad. We can all easily berate what is missing from the squad but if we as a club have top loaded with quality then we shouldn't moan when it comes off.

Accy were very good but lacked any quality up front where it matters. Different budgets, different priorities. Last night we were lucky but you can't say we weren't due some.

No I haven't, I think you are confusing me with johnnythespireite. I don't have arguments with Dema. Now R2D2 on the other hand................
